Outfit: Plaid Mock Turtleneck Dress, Leather Jacket, and Cutout Ankle Boots

I've officially worn this exact outfit four different times. Yes, I love it that much! Also I meant to take pictures of it all of those times but that didn't pan out due to lack of light or rainy days. I'm sure this happens to plenty of you other bloggers too! So I just kept wearing it over and over. The accessories and makeup may have changed, but that's about it.

This red plaid mock turtleneck dress is a recent Forever 21 purchase. It was so cheap and so comfy I couldn't resist. Plus I didn't own any plaid dresses! I thought pairing it with my black leather jacket was a pretty classic combination. I added gray tights instead of black to mix it up a little and make the look less harsh. What do you think? I'd love to hear your ideas about other ways to style this dress. I wear a lot of red but I feel like I always end up wearing it with black or yellow.

Jeanie took these pictures for me on Thanksgiving. I'm thankful to have a little sister who humors me and will do this when she's home from school!

Are you guys doing anything fun this weekend? I feel like I ask every Friday but I like to live vicariously through you. I actually have plans with Matt this weekend though, so I'm glad! It's good to get out of the house once in a while!

Have a wonderful Friday!

It's so hard with colourful plaids - it always feels like everything you put with them doesn't quite work. I'd probably want to put something like a chunky, cream or oatmeal piece of knitwear with a dress like this... but I like the grey and black you've gone with too! CC x

LOL Yep! Wear it until it's documented--or it never happened. LOL Love this dress! Looks so cute with the little gold bow too!

Black and red is always a winning combination. I have hardly any red in my wardrobe, so I don't really have any ideas on how to style it. I also don't have any plaid, so I've no knowledge there either!

This is such a cute outfit! I think you styled it perfectly by pairing the dress with grey tights. I think white might work too, but it might look a little Christmas-y.

I live how warm & seasonally appropriate this dress looks! Also loving how you styled it with the leather jacket! Red is a lovely color on you :)
