Outfit: Green Floral Shift Dress, Yellow Patterned Tights, and Ankle Boots

Happy Friday! I'm excited to show you my most recent purchase, this green floral shift dress from Target. It was actually a gift card purchase so I didn't feel guilty buying it when I really don't need another dress. But can you ever have too many dresses? (Probably. I'll deny it though!)

Anyway, I'd seen this dress on a previous Target trip and willed myself not to try it on. However, I kept thinking about it. So the next time I went to Target I wandered over to the clothes section and found that there was just one of these dresses left. Luckily it was in my size! Then I figured I needed to try it on. It fit perfectly, so it became mine. It actually looked really cool with the tights and shoes I was wearing that day so I may need to wear those with it next time...

Green Floral Dress Detailing

I wore this out to dinner with my family last weekend. Instead of going the more neutral route with my accessories for its first day out, I added some bright yellow tights. I enjoyed the mix of green and yellow going on in this look. The ankle boots were handed down to me from an ex-style blogger. Just looking at these pictures is making me want to wear this dress again. I just don't have a lot of shift dresses in my wardrobe and this one fits so nicely. Maybe I'll wear it again today!

Oh my goodness, this outfit is SO perfect! I LOVE the tights with this dress, and I'm so glad Target had the last one in your size! It's the prettiest dress ever!

Haha, and in answer to your question: no. You can never have too many dresses (but don't tell my husband this, because he would disagree and say my 50+ dress closet is a bit too full.)

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
