Outfit: Polka Dot Blazer, Purple Graphic Tee, and Acid Wash Skinny Jeans

Just a quick outfit post today! I wore this casual outfit last week and probably didn't even need the jacket when I took these pictures. I thought it was a much more interesting look with the addition of my polka dot blazer though. This blazer always gets buried underneath other more-often-worn coats so I sometimes forget about it. It's a nice light layer that's actually perfect for springtime. Unfortunately it's usually too hot for jackets once proper springtime rolls around, so I'm wearing it now! I threw it on over a purple The New Pornographers band t-shirt and my skinny acid wash jeans.

I really like these jeans but I find them hard to style. I know I should treat them as a neutral denim but for some reason that's difficult for me! How do you guys style acid wash items? I know they're not everyone's taste, but once I bought these pants I appreciated the 80s goodness so much more. They're a good mix of a vintage wash with a modern cut.

Also, check out my new blue flats!

Have a wonderful start to your week!

It's really weird but I feel the same thing about my polka dot blazer. I felt like I would wear it all the time, but really I always forget about it. I just did a remix post on it last week, actually. But this is a great way to wear it! And I love your acid wash jeans!

I think you work those jeans amazingly! And you totally make it your own too!

I love the blue shoes, I don't have any blue flats but would really like some. I adore the way you styled the acid wash jeans and polka dots, of course, are a favourite of mine.

Oh I absolutely love acid denim, I'd pair it with everything!!! :D You can think of it as a normal pair of jeans and wear stuff that you would normally wear with them. I think it would look great with almost any color and pattern.
Love the way you styled them here, I love seeing you in jeans ^_^

I don't have anything that's acid denim, I always shy away from it because I'm not sure how to work with it. I'm also trying to buy no new jeans and to reduce the amount of times I wear them. Especially on the weekend, it's a no jeans zone for me!

Wow! First of all: I hardly ever saw you in long pants so this is unusual for me. Look sreally good on you! :) And then I have to say that I basically like every single piece of this outfit on its own and put together it's just perfect! I would steal this from your closet if I couldm especially the blazer and shoes! ;D

I love how you styled these jeans! And you're right about the polka dot blazer being the perfect finishing touch. I'm with ya- once spring rolls around here it's also too hot for jackets so I'm trying to rotate through all of mine now :)

Cobalt blue is my favorite blue to wear, so I really love your new flats! I'm afraid I cannot give you any advice on how to style your jeans other than maybe do a Pinterest search. I always love your 80s and 90s inspired outfits! xo

Your flats are SO perfect! I adore them. And I have no idea how I would style acid-wash jeans; I had a pair back in my teen years but... I had no sense of style back then and it was kind of a disaster. You look WAY cuter than I ever would! I bet these would be adorable for cooler summer days with a tied-up button-up shirt and sandals!
