Outfit: Rainbow Paint Splatter Dress with Yellow Wedge Sandals

This was the first time I wore this paint splatter print dress and it was crazy how many positive comments I got on it! I guess it's a pretty unique pattern, which would be why I couldn't resist it. It was such an inexpensive purchase that I wasn't really expecting it to fit so well, but it's kind of perfect for my 4'11" body. Not too long in the torso, and short, but not obscenely short. It's still on sale, so if any of you other petite people are interested, it's there. For reference, I bought a size medium.
For its debut I styled it with some bright yellow wedges I picked up at Target on clearance a couple years back and a little red hair bow. It ended up a perfectly bright, spring-y outfit. (I actually wore this back on Easter so the pictures have been sitting on my computer for a while. Oops!)

dress: shein | wedges: target | hair bow: forever 21

I threw in our little family picture above for good measure. Riker is a big boy now! He actually turned one last week and I'm planning on writing a little post about him. He's definitely better behaved than he was when he was five to eight months old, which is good for my sanity.
In other news, I have a nice three day weekend coming up because I took a day off for my sister's grad school graduation. I'm heading back to Athens to spend a day there and have some fun after the graduating festivities. Should be a good time! It's always nice when Thursday is like Friday.
Have a happy rest of your week!

And the styling is perfect - bringing out some of the colours more. Love it!
Have a nice weekend.
