A Go-To Type Outfit

This is the sort of outfit I wear when I don't know what to wear.



I like it, though. I enjoy styling band t-shirts. I also really love these new leopard print tights Jeanie bought me.

shorts: levi's; thrifted
tights: forever 21
shoes: xhileration; target
t-shirt: american apparel
cardigan: forever 21

I'm watching Prophets of Doom on the history channel right now. They're talking about robots taking over the world when artificial brains get more intelligent than us. It's scary. The future scares me. Why do I watch these shows?

Leopard tights for the win! I love how you wear them. I normally think that leopard print is kind of tacky, but it really really doesn't look tacky on you! It looks actually very cute :)

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
