Floral Dress at the Lake

I've had a busy weekend and a couple days of watching way too many episodes of random TV shows on Netflix. These are a few shots from last Friday when I went to my friends' wedding rehearsal at Lake Lanier. I wore my new dress I picked up from Forever 21. I love the colors in the print and the shape is perfect. Plus it has little sleeves and I always enjoy when my cute dresses have sleeves of some sort.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I sure did and I can't wait to show you a few pictures of my wearing that pink dress I thrifted. I was pretty thrilled to wear it. My friends' wedding was beautiful too. We're all getting older. It's kind of scary, but oh well!

Such a cute little dress. I've always been big on sleeveless dresses, but lately I'm accumulating quite the collection of dresses with cute sleeves...I love it! Can't wait to see that pink dress :)

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. Work Outfit: Light Blue Jersey Knit Dress and White Block Heels

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. That's exactly what I did with this light blue dress California-based shop Tobi sent me to style. (Someone even asked me why I was dressed so nice at the dog park! I told them I just came from work, of course.) For the debut of my newest pajama dress, I added my silvery beaded Stella and Dot necklace and a pair of white block heel sandals from Forever 21. I actually bought the shoes back in December on sale and had to wait for it to warm up to finally wear them. Outfit: Concert Tee, Black Denim Mini Skirt, Pink Tights, and White Converse

Here I am wearing a concert t-shirt again. At this point I'm not sure I'll ever stop wearing them. Maybe when I'm 70 I won't wear them with bright pink tights and white wedge Converse, but really, who knows? Maybe we'll all be dressing like Zenon : Girl of the 21st Century by then. (I can only hope.) And if I really take a look at this outfit, all I need is a colorful vest and I may as well have come off the space station. They really liked vests in that movie. I guess they don't need sleeves when everything's climate controlled? It is, however, not climate controlled outside in Atlanta. These pictures are from a couple months ago but it still hasn't reliably warmed up here yet. Also, my hair is now completely different since I had it chopped off again into an asymmetrical pixie a couple weeks ago.
