Two Years Ago: Pink + Black October Outfit

This will be a quick post today since I have two papers and a presentation due on Friday and I'm freaking out yet I still can't start the crap. Woe is the life of a grad student.

Since I've been sitting in my lounging clothes for the past two days, I don't have a new outfit to show you. However I have a new-to-the-blog outfit from two years ago! You'll notice I have no bangs, my hair is shorter, and I may even look ever so slightly younger. Probably not though. Anyway, I really liked this outfit back when I wore it and I still like it so that must mean it's good.

skirt: thrifted | top, flower hair clip: forever 21 | cardigan: so... - kohls | shoes: delia's | socks: american apparel

This is the outfit I was wearing when I got my speeding ticket. I remember because I was angry that I'd dressed nicely that day because that jerk cop probably thought I was classy and made of money or something. Which is the opposite of the truth. Most of this outfit was super super cheap. The knee socks are the most expensive thing!

Anyway, Happy Wednesday. I'm off to research stuff and hopefully write one of the papers today. Ughhhhhh. That's how I feel about life right now. Bye!

Hahaha! I love that you remembered that this is what you were wearing when you got a speeding ticket. I would probably remember too, I mean that skirt is fabulous!

haha aw this is such a cute outfit to be ruined by such a crappy day! Thankfully, I've never had the honor of having a ticket (I'd probably have a mental breakdown/heart attack/seizure by the time the cop came to my window, lol!!)

Well weirdly enough, I have a dress made of your blouse fabric, but not even from the same store? Coincidences. And those shoes are just too darling, love how kitschy and fun they make your outfit!

Those shoes are ADORABLE! Oh my! So cute. So is the skirt. I never wear much pink even though I love it so. You look so sweet...too bad the cop didn't let you off ):
