Woo it's Friday! Happy labor day weekend!

I wore this outfit to class last week. It's good I just posted about matching separates and their versatility because I'm showcasing that here! This skirt is the bottom part of my matching polka dot separates. I just decided to go with a red blouse I thrifted this time. So much versatility. (Now I need to wear just the polka dot top with something!)

Are you guys doing anything fun this labor day weekend? I have Monday off of class so I'm pretty pumped about that. I have some school work to get caught up on, but I think I may work on redesigning the blog a little bit too. I know. It sounds like an exciting weekend.

I almost bought a skirt like that yesterday but they didn't have my size! It was on sale too...would have been wonderful. The combination of polka dots with red is beautiful.

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
