A B-52's Concert Shirt, Red Skirt, & Gold Loafers

Happy Wednesday everyone! Yep, this is another red and blue outfit. You could definitely say this is a favorite color combination of mine. This concert t-shirt is one of my favorites because of its bold primary colors and fun design. It looks particularly perfect with a red skirt. Of course my sparkly gold loafers had to make an appearance again. If you're going bold, you might as well go all out. At least that's usually how outfits work in my world.

I've been trying to catch up with your blogs and commenting and all that good blog community stuff. I'm sorry I'm way behind! I kind of dedicated this week to getting my crap together for my epic spring internship search. Then I have ten thousand pounds of school work looming ahead of me. The piles of reading never end either. Needless to say, I'm pretty ready for grad school to be over. 
I'm also sorry about my complaints. This is my life right now though.

On the bright side there was a cool breeze and some clouds yesterday. It was a welcome break from the constant heat. I always feel much more joyful when the weather isn't melting me!

I hope you guys are having a happy week so far!

You look so adorable! I really love that skirt and how all your colors coordinate - even down to your nails. Also, your shirt reminds me of Gilmore Girls - I don't know if you watch that show, but there is an episode where Lorelai spills coffee on herself in the car and has to go to a parent teacher conference in a B52's shirt. :)

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
