Polka Dot Dress + Purple Top = Disney Princess?

Somebody told me I look like a Disney princess when I wore this outfit so that makes it a winner in my book. I thought it was about time I layered a blouse underneath this polka dot dress and here is the result. This purple top probably should have been ironed, but I love the pop of color it added to this outfit.

top: thrifted | dress: forever 21 | shoes: croft & barrow - kohl's | bow: forever 21

I also have some double polka dots going on in this outfit. Why not? Somehow I can't stop myself from wearing this bow with every polka dotted thing I own.

I'll leave you with a picture of me gracefully tripping. These pictures were taken last Monday after my awful super busy weekend, so I was really tired. That's my excuse. This picture is extra appropriate today because I spent all weekend studying for a midterm and I'm pretty sure this will be how I arrive back at my apartment after it's done.

Happy Monday everyone!

I love layering blouses under dresses! It's a great look for fall, a great way to stay a little warmer in the chilly weather, and a great way to remix things! I love the pop of purple with the black and white. One time someone told me I looked like a Disney princress because I was wearing a red and white polka-dotted prairie dress. I agree that it's a good compliment...hahaha.

Haha, you gracefully tripping kind of just looks like you're dancing. You're so cute! I love this outfit, and the fact that someone said it looks Disney Princess. That bow is also something I'd wear with everything. So cute!

You make cute faces at least when you're tripping, I always look like a dip when I do. (A very serious, intense dip I might add.) This outfit is so pretty and sweet, there is a little of a Disney princess look, maybe Belle? At least that's who comes to mind although you look more like an Ariel. :)
