Here it is: my 80s aerobics instructor costume! This was a really easy costume to put together and it was actually quite comfy. The only difficulty came when I was downtown and had to use the bathroom. Onesie problems. Isn't it always awkward to be practically naked while in the stall? That can't just be me. But anyway...
The leotard was a vintage find at Savers over the summer. I knew this had to be my costume this year since I stumbled upon the leotard's striped glory. I just added a pair of colorful tights, a stretchy headband, and these strange-colored legwarmers I got as a gag gift. I definitely didn't realize that all my tights have that slight band on the upper thigh until yesterday though. This much of my tights doesn't usually show! Oh well.

My strong, athletic pose is the best pose for this awesomely unflattering costume!
My white keds somehow ended up with dirt all over them after going downtown last night. Someone must have stepped on my feet. Anybody know how to get dirt off of white shoes? I'd hate to not be able to wear them anymore.
I insisted that Matt and I take some pictures together yesterday. He humored me. We don't have nearly enough pictures together! I'm still thrilled with how great some of them turned out so I'm sharing a couple with you! (We both went the athletic route this Halloween. He was a rugby player.)
Did you guys have a nice Halloween? Mine was excellent. I watched all the Halloween movies on my list (The Addams Family, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, & The Rocky Horror Picture Show) and went downtown with Matt for some cheap drinks and dancing.
I hope you guys are having a great Friday evening and have a nice weekend too!
