Pink Bow Sweater, Acid Wash Jeans, & Studded Loafers

Happy Monday everyone! This is a pretty casual outfit I wore because I had to pack some things in my car. Plus I wanted to get some wear out of these acid wash jeans I just had to have. I still think they're cool and I don't care who knows it! This time I paired them with my pink bow sweater and some black studded loafers. 
(And thank you to Matt for quickly snapping these for me before I left!)

Did you guys have a nice weekend? I'm spending time visiting family right now, so it's not exactly a restful break so far, but that's okay. I'm still having fun and it's great to not be in school. I've been doing crossword puzzles, catching up on my backlog of blogs I read, thrifting, and trying to reach my Goodreads yearly book goal. Nerdy times you guys. I love it.

I used to have a pair of acid-wash jeans that I absolutely loved! I don't know why I got rid of them. You look adorable. :)

I was gonna ask if you were done with exams yet--looks like you are! Yaaaaaaaaay! We must have been on the exact same schedule. Sorry you've not been able to relax just yet, but at least you don't have to study for family visitations, hahah!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
