Floral Crop Top, Pink Shorts, & Black Wedges

Happy Friday everyone! I'm a little behind posting outfits here since this is what I wore on Easter. It was a very casual Easter. All we did was eat delicious dinner and take some pictures in the back yard which is a-okay with me! 

I picked up this floral crop top from Forever 21 a couple weeks back because I liked the colors and figured it would pair well with a ton of things. I needed more crop tops in my collection! Especially since the weather is hot right now! Because of my short torso, cropped shirts sometimes fit me like an actual shirt is supposed to. This one is properly cropped to my waist though! These pink shorts are from Boohoo. They're a super light material which will be nice in the coming months. However the material wrinkles like crazy! Trade offs, I guess.

In other news I graduated with my master's degree yesterday, though I won't feel completely done until the physical degree is in my hands. Matt is graduating today too. I can't believe this day finally came! We're both done with school. Hooray! I'll have pictures to show you guys soon. Unfortunately there's no cap and gown pictures from this go-around since I couldn't reuse my undergrad one and the graduate one was expensive. I just went to the ceremony specifically for students in the journalism school rather than the overall graduate degree ceremony. My name actually got called and I could wear a nice dress instead of a cap and gown. Sorry if that made no sense. Things can get complicated in a large school like UGA!

Anyway, I hope you're having a good Friday so far! You may see me Instagramming today since I'll be going to Matt's graduation stuff. I think we'll be going out celebrating tonight too. The Snapchats will be special, I'm sure.

Lol totally get what you mean by having a short torso. I guess it's great that a crop top can also be used as a normal top for when the season changes? Floral is just the best!!

Congrats on the graduation. Must feel amazing to finally be complete. :)

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Don't Dream It

...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
