Star Trek Tank Top, Houndstooth Pencil Skirt, & Black Wedges

Happy happy Friday everyone! I can't believe it's already the end of the week. It flew by. Anyway, here is the second time I've worn my Star Trek muscle tee on this blog. While I'm not a fan of having to wear a bandeau bra underneath this shirt (since the armholes are gigantic), it is an incredibly comfortable combination. I could absolutely sleep in this shirt/bra combo. I bought the shirt despite the muscle tee situation because of the awesome Star Trek graphic. There are more characters tucked into my skirt because the shirt is so long on me! Oh well. 

This time I paired it with a thrifted houndstooth pencil skirt that I stole from Jeanie's room and was wearing to work the past few months. At the end of this post you'll see that I threw on a leather jacket and took a picture. Then I realized it was way too warm for a jacket. It looked cool though!

Great outfit! Love the pencil skirt to give the Star a trek tee a more defined, mature look.

As far as Netflix recommendations go, I've been watching a ton of Mystery Science Theater 3000 lately. It's a 90s Sci-Fi esque show that makes fun of really terrible movies. I always watched it with my dad growing up, so for me, I get a little nostalgic watching it now.

Start with Gamera if you end up trying it out. That one is particularly good, in my opinion. :)

It has happened to me SO many times that I'll see a tshirt with a super cute design just to realize its one of those tops that have huge armpit holes. I end up never buying them because I'm just too lazy to wear another top under it. You look so cool in your start trek top though!! I love it with the houndstooth skirt and your fiery red hair!

With the jacket= <3!!!! I have a huge problem buying sleeveless tops since the armholes are so low, and I can't just bandeau :( First world problems, eh?

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
