Outfit: High Waisted Bell Bottoms, Donut Print T-shirt, and a Black Leather Jacket

Even though a lot of style bloggers never show outfits with jeans, I think it's possible to put together an interesting, share-worthy outfit with them. These dark wash, high-waisted bell bottom jeans were ordered from OldNavy.com about a year ago and unfortunately they don't carry them anymore. If you're very short, it's 100% necessary to buy petite bell bottoms or else you cut off most of the bell part hemming them. These were a perfect find for me and I wear them pretty often, especially to work with various blouses. I should've bought two pairs they're so perfect!

This was a casual weekend outfit though. I like the updated 70s vibes going on. I styled my jeans with a donut print graphic t-shirt (which was a Secret Santa gift), my incredibly useful faux leather jacket, comfy wedge boots, and a pair of gold hoop earrings. 

What do you think? Have you found any petite bell bottoms lately? I think they're a nice way to switch things up in the denim department. I still enjoy my high-waisted skinny jeans too. I can wear flats with those but these flares make me look taller. Good times.

I hope you're having a good weekend so far. I'm so happy to be relaxing on the couch. It's super warm outside here in Atlanta already but there's a possibility of it cooling off again. It feels almost summery today though. I'm enjoying it for now but hot weather always lingers so long in Georgia. I wish we had more seasonally appropriate springs and falls. Oh well.

Haha, I feel you on hot weather. I guess that's a thing we suffer with in the south--humidity early in the spring and late in the fall. I think we had about a week of "spring" though... maybe?

Anyway, I love those pants on you! Eeeeeek! Flare jeans are so darn stylish, and I love that donut top, too!

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
