Jeanie's in Her Birthday Outfit

Jeanie is 18 now! So here is her outfit from that day!



She wanted to show off her new ring. It's a pretty cool deer. I think it'll be really festive around Christmas time.

This green skirt was originally a long, ridiculous-looking thing. Now it's cute. I love thrift finds.

She did her hair in a very cool way too. It fell out when we got to the restaurant though.

Now I'm almost caught up with my pictures! I spent a lot of Wednesday night catching up on blogs too. It was enjoyable. I'm glad it's Friday because I'm having a dinner party get together with some old high school friends tonight. It should be pretty awesome, especially since one of those old friends is a chef now and will be doing the cooking.

I love the colour of her skirt. She's looking quite the chic birthday girl. I have a deer ring and I absolutely love it. You're right about it having a festive feel to it - I'm going to wear it to death at Christmas time.

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
