Wearing A Striped Nautical Sweater and Navy Skirt Makes Me Say Ahoy!

Just a quick outfit post today! I really liked how perfectly my thrifted striped sweater looked with this navy skirt, but these pictures didn't turn out the best. I blame the horribly bright sun and the epic windiness! Normally I would just wear the outfit another day and take pictures, but I'm trying to get as much use out of my tights and sweaters as I can before it gets hot!

How perfect is this sweater? It has a red anchor on it. It's pretty cool. Actually, Jeanie found it at the thrift store and thought it would be perfect for me. I almost didn't get it, but I'm glad I did. It's a petite size so it fits really nicely!


I'm looking a bit windblown in these. Sorry!

Well hey there, sailor adorable! Man, that sweater is just precious. The little red anchor is the perfect detail. And all your red accessories are awesome--I love your bows that you're always wearing. You make me want to be more of a bow-wearer!

This sweater is PERFECT. I can't imagine you almost not getting it. I'm jealous that warm weather seems in your future. It's snowing and 20 degrees in Ohio. I want to rid myself of tights!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. ...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
