Sailboat Shirt, Red Linen Skirt, & Red Wayfarers

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Apparently I can't stop wearing blue and red together. Sorry. I guess I'm just reflecting my new blog layout! But really. How can I not wear nautical colors? It's still super hot outside and summery so I guess I might as well embrace it as much as possible and wear all the nautical things. This sailboat print shirt is one of my favorite thrift finds ever. It almost always gets paired with a red skirt.

Do you guys ever feel like you're working and working on tons of stuff but nothing ever gets done? That's how I feel about this blog. And school. And everything else. Maybe that's just being an adult. If so, I don't like it! I'm behind on everything! Thankfully I think I'm almost done with the blog revamp. So that'll be one thing I don't have to worry about.

It seems that when you finish things, more things just come up, or things just get more difficult as you work along! I feels ya, girl. Hopefully things will get easier for you as the week slash month goes on. :)

I adoooore that top! I can't believe you found such an awesome piece at a thrift store. And yep totally looks good with that red skirt!

So weird--I've been in that mood too! I guess I just don't want to let go of summer. Which is fine since it's still in the 90's here. I love your skirt! The pockets are so cute!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. ...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
