November at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia

Matt and I went out to the State Botanical Garden of Georgia last fall and we got quite a few nice pictures, so we had to repeat that trip this year. I like to get at least a couple good pictures of us together each year. What's a better time than while the fall colors are still around?
We don't go over to the botanical garden nearly enough even though it's down the street! Maybe I can convince Matt we need to take another trip there next week?

I hope you guys had a nice week. Mine has been busy, but I still have a ton of school work to get done this weekend. It'll be a writing papers kind of weekend. (The most exciting kind!) It gets hard to stay motivated around this time in the semester. Thanksgiving break is around the corner, though I'll still have a bunch of work to do over the "break". Oh well! At least there will be delicious feasting!

The botanical gardens is such a great backdrop for your photoshoot. The pictures look so lovely and I bet you must be a good photographer. I love the colours of fall but too bad I live in a tropical country with no 4 seasons.

Oh cute! All the fall colours in Minnesota have come and gone. Everything is grey and dead and waiting to be blanketed with snow. I love the changing leaves, so I will have to appreciate them vicariously.

p.s. what is it with boyfriends hating to have their photos taken?

Dawwwww, you match! That's adoreable, you two are quite the cute couple. :) I'm so jealous that you have such beautiful fall foliage there, our leaves didn't even turn red this year, they just feel right off the trees.

In side news, I WANT THOSE BOOTS. Ohmygosh, that's are so freaking awesome, they're dark red, ankle boots and have studs! They're like my bootie soul mate. (Which sounds awful but still love the boots.)

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
