Checkerboard Print Top, Pleated Skirt, & Pink Tights

These pictures are from about month ago. Oops. I'm so behind on everything right now. I shouldn't even be putting this post together, but here I am. Anyway, I suppose I'll talk about this outfit. I always enjoy a black and white outfit paired with some brightly-colored tights. This time I went ahead and wore a pair of pink tights because I figured they'd look really cool with my new houndstooth flats.

I'll finally be done with this semester around 6pm today. You'll know when I write a celebratory tweet and start commenting on all of your blogs again! I'll probably need a good nap and a drink too. It'll be glorious. However right now I need to get back to studying and maybe get a few hours of sleep.

Good luck with finishing semester. That's the most exciting feeling and I always remember that as soon as I finished I'd pretty much go straight to my blog and write a celebratory post and catch up on my commenting, as you said. Love your shoes. The design is so fun and amazing. It reminds me to wear my houndstooth flats soon. The pink tights with the black and white look is a great idea.

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
