Striped Shirt, Red Wool Skirt, Silver Beaded Necklace, & Boston Terrier Flats

Happy Friday everyone! I really loved this outfit. It was kind of simple with the main pieces, but the details made it more unique. A striped t-shirt looks good with almost everything. I'm glad to have snatched up this long sleeved one from Forever 21 during a sale. I wore it with my trusty red wool skirt and added some fishnet-ish tights and my new Boston Terrier flats Jeanie bought me for Christmas. My Stella & Dot beaded necklace was a gift from Mom a couple years ago. It looks good with so many things but I tend to wear it during the colder months for whatever reason. So here it is, obviously out in the cold!

The snowy pictures I have from Illinois make me wish we got some snow here in Georgia. I love the way the sunlight reflects off the snow and bounces onto my face and the outfit. Plus it's nice and festive during this time of the year.

I love your tights and those shoes are just adorable! That necklace is also perfect for winter--looks almost like ice crystals on a string!

Snow is nice from time to time, but it sucks to live in it! You're not missing out on much ;)

I just found your blog. I'm only 5'0'' so I know all about short girl fashions--ha! I used to live in Chicago, and we'd get tons of snow. Now I live in sunny California and I don't miss it. Cute skirt!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. ...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had!
