Outfit: Peach Lace Overlay Skirt, Gray V-neck T-shirt, Black Clog Sandals, & a Flower Hair Clip
Happy Monday everyone! Here's an outfit I wore out to the mall and out to breakfast with Matt a little over a week ago. I found this skirt in the clearance racks at New York & Co. and was planning on styling it in a casual way. I paired it with this gray brewery t-shirt and thought it ended up toning down the fanciness of the skirt. I'm sure this skirt will look really cute all dressed up too, but that would've been a little much for a mall trip. I just really liked how this outfit turned out. I don't wear a lot of skirts at this length but it worked here with my trusty clog sandals! I actually got a couple real life compliments the day I wore this too!

In other news I'm preparing for Dragon Con (which is Atlanta's comic con type convention) this weekend. I'm pumped! Any excuse to dress up in a costume is good enough for me so I couldn't resist. Check out my Instagram this week because I'll probably post a preview of one (or two) costumes! Any guesses about what I'll be wearing?
I'll also be wearing normal clothes though since I'm not sure I can wear a costume each of the 4 days. I'm thinking I'll need to wear my Star Trek shirt. Maybe my Spider-man t-shirt? It's definitely a time to embrace my geekier tendencies. What would you wear to a convention like this?
Anyway, have a wonderful start to your week!

Have so much fun at Dragon Con! I've never been to a comic con, but I have a lifelong love for costumes and am kind of tempted to go some day. I would love to dress up in a Princess Bubblegum-inspired outfit!
