Outfit: Polka Dot Boots, Purple Band T-shirt, and a Black Skirt with Mesh Cutout

Happy Monday everyone! This is an outfit I wore out with friends to see a free outdoor concert. The band played only 80s songs so it was pretty great in my book. This kind of look is one of my go-to's when I'm unsure what exactly to wear. I just wanted to wear my new polka dot boots from Boohoo so this is what I quickly came up with. But seriously, how cool are these boots? They're going to be extra awesome in the fall with some fun tights. I still have a couple months of hot weather though so how would you style these boots in a hot weather sort of way?

In other news I'm leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow so I'm busy scheduling out posts for the week! It's hard to get ready to go on vacation when the internet keeps on moving without you. I have stuff for my part time work to schedule out for the week too. Hopefully there's enough time for me to do all of this plus pack my bag! I have another question for you because you guys know what's up fashion wise. You know my sequined seafoam-colored skater skirt? I want to wear it in Vegas but am unsure how I should style it this time. Help!

Those boots are awesome, I'd just wear them with everything because they are awesome.

For the sequin skirt, what about pairing it with white, or something pattern but with a white background, if you get what I mean. It's a tough one, I have a mint green skirt in my wardrobe that I love, but I can't quite work out how to wear it yet. I too used to skirts being dark colours.

Ah! I have seriously been stalking those boots! Polka dots are my favorite, then you combine them with boots and they are just pure perfection! You made a super cute outfit with them.

That is SOOOO cool that you are going to Vegas tomorrow!! I am sooooo jealous!!! Your aqua sequin skirt is SO pretty too, great idea to wear it to Vegas! I think I would keep it simple with just a white tee and beige flats. But I'm sure you will come up with a great outfit no matter what! Have a great time in Vegas!!

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. Work Outfit: Light Blue Jersey Knit Dress and White Block Heels

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. That's exactly what I did with this light blue dress California-based shop Tobi sent me to style. (Someone even asked me why I was dressed so nice at the dog park! I told them I just came from work, of course.) For the debut of my newest pajama dress, I added my silvery beaded Stella and Dot necklace and a pair of white block heel sandals from Forever 21. I actually bought the shoes back in December on sale and had to wait for it to warm up to finally wear them. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
