We've come to the end of the road with my Las Vegas outfit posts. I guess there was only one before this but still. I brought my trusty maroon skater skirt with me on vacation because it looks great with pretty much anything. It was still the festive season so I paired it with a subtly sparkly silver sweater. The polka dot tights are another favorite that look good with nearly anything. I especially love how black looks paired with my maroon skirt too. That's a color scheme I'm sure you see me wear relatively often. 

I really like this outfit, but then again it's hard not to like an outfit made up of favorite pieces and a pair of very comfy yet super cute shoes. It certainly was a great outfit choice for wandering down the Las Vegas Strip - comfy and stylish at the same time! Sometimes I like to save new pieces to wear for the first time over vacation, but other times I pack up only things I know I definitely enjoy wearing (and are comfortable). How about you?

I love your collection of coloured skater skirts. I ideally want a pink one, maroon and yellow but can never find them. Maroon is one of my favourite colours so I adore your look and the tights are amazing too.

I love this outfit! Polka dot tights are always fun. For vacation, I usually tend to overpack and I usually try on all the outfits before I bring them to make sure that they are comfortable/look good. If I get something new and save it for vacation, I definitely make sure it'll work out before I leave. I am currently planning outfits for Florida since I'm going there soon!

I can see why the maroon skater skirt and polka dot tights are amongst your favourite outfit pieces. They look lovely and the water makes a perfect contrasting complementary backdrop for your pretty outfit photos. I've never been to Las Vegas. It's nice and unexpected (for me) seeing that much water there. Thanks for the tip about there being new X-Files episodes on the tele. :)

Comfy and cute shoes are what a girl needs to live for. ;) Seriously, they make putting outfits together so much easier cause you know you can depend on them. And I love those! Your polka dot tights never cease to make me smile.

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
