Peplum Skirt and a Band T-Shirt

Why hello and Happy Monday!
I would be more inclined to call it a feeling overwhelmed type of Monday though. School is getting to be a lot and I really won't be sad when this semester is over.

Anyway, it looked like rain all day today but I never got rained on. I, for whatever reason, tend to wear these oxford shoes I got from Forever 21 when it's rainy. Maybe because it doesn't really matter if they get messed up. Although if they did I would miss them because they sure are a trusty pair of shoes!

I also decided to wear my peplum skirt because peplums are all cool now. I've had this one in my closet for a long time. Since back when Forever 21 actually had a clearance section. I don't wear it a lot because it's big in the waist. I just makeshift pinned in the waist for today!

The fabric of that skirt is amazing! I really quite like peplum skirts, I've decided...but it's always a nuissance when skirts are too big in the waist! I have to belt everything, it's such an issue....

School work makes me boring also ):

That is such a cute skirt! Isn't it great when things are suddenly in, when you have had them forever?

I'm not a fan of this trend, I have never thought it pretty, but boy do I love the print! It's so perfect and this shirt always makes me smile. One of the most comfy shirts I own.

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
