Pink Leopard Print Dress & a Blue Cardigan

Happy Monday! Here's an outfit I wore to class on a dreary, humid day. This is the kind of outfit I throw on when I don't really have another outfit in mind. You can't go wrong with a cardigan, dress, and flats! It looks like I tried, but in reality there was almost no effort put into this outfit. Hooray!

"dreary, humid day"--haha, I feel like you and I both have plenty of those coming for us this summer! I do like dreary days, but humidity not so much. ;)

I love how you belted your dressed, Jamie. Also, those earrings are so much fun! (and pokey. pokey things are always better)

The neckline on your dress is simply amazing! I always go for a dress + cardi combo, both is summer or winter, when I have no time to really think about something to wear. x (read: when my bed was too comfy to leave it in the morning and I only had 2 mins to get dressed)

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
