Black Blouse, Mini Houndstooth Skirt, & Black Knee Boots

These pictures didn't turn out the best, but I liked how this outfit turned out so here they are! This is yet another instance where my shirt looks more sheer in the pictures than it looked in real life. I can't be the only one that happens to! Oh well. This outfit is a little more neutral-colored than I usually lean but it has a subtle mix of pattern to keep it from being boring. The polka dot bow (actually a sash from some pants) and this blouse look like they belong together. I've actually worn a version of this before but it never ended up on the blog.

I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was tasty, but now I need to buckle down and get more school work done. It'll be difficult since I'm home for break. Why is it always 340 times harder to get work done at home?

This is a great look, I love that the colours are muted brown and black, it's simple but still so interesting. Love a good pair of knee high boots!

Haha, I'm feelin' the pressure with you. It IS hard to work at home! But I've been surprisingly productive since I'm focusing more on art projects than "real studying" hahaha. I wish you luck, my darling Jamie!

This outfit is so cute, and your photos are spot on excellent. I especially love that portrait photo of you--so adorable, you are, and the bokeh is lovely!

I have a hard time working at home too =/ Although it depends on the kind of work. I actually really really like neutrals on you, because your hair pops so much in contrast! This look is giving me Mad Men feelings.

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. ...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
