A Jeanie Outfit: Flannel Shirt, Navy Skater Skirt, Mustard Scarf, & Dark Red Tights

Happy Saturday!
Here's an outfit Jeanie wore the other day. After I asked her where all the pieces were from I remembered that I bought her the flannel shirt and mustard yellow scarf for Christmas last year. So hooray for presents that are actually being used! I really liked how all the colors in this outfit looked together. The yellow scarf picks up the yellow in the shirt really nicely and those tights are a great dark red. Plus she looks all nice and cozy in the snow! In real life we were cold taking these pictures which is probably evident in the first picture because she's hiding her hands inside her shirt. (And I definitely didn't even realize that until I had these pictures all resized and everything. Oh well!)

I love the colors in this outfit ^^ Mustard is a fave of mine and red is all I've been wearing lately. The blue acts as a perfect neutral to balance the two bright colors and makes the outfit work. I hope she wasn't too cold, haha. It's a hard time of the year to be a style blogger! xo

Now that is the perfect winter outfit! I've been all about flannels like that too...so warm and cozy for these chilly winter months. She looks lovely!

This is a genius colour combination. Everything goes perfectly together. I am really impressed. I always wonder how so many of you take blog pictures in the snow. Even a little bit of wind puts me off. Snow is just such a foreign concept over here.

It's nice seeing outfits with well coordinated bold colours in the Winter. Whilst the colours of flowers and foliage aren't around the bright fashion colours really brighten things up. I like the complementary combination of the mustard yellow scarf and blue skater skirt from Forever 21 with the blue white red and yellow plaid yellow shirt and red tights from Target. The setting looks noticeably cold, but it made for wonderful outfit photos. The colours really stand out in contrast to the snow and background. It's a beautiful outfit!

Wauw the haircut is so pretty, I've been wanting a pony for some time now but I'm a little afraid to take the leap:) Also love the tights, it's so refreshing to see them in an other colour than black and these really 'finish' the outfit! I'm in love :D

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Don't Dream It

...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
