Psychotic State T-shirt, Mustard Cardigan, Black Shorts, Polka Dot Tights, & Red Shoes

Happy Monday everyone! Here's an outfit I wore a couple weeks back on a dreary rainy day. I had a casual birthday party to attend so I put together an outfit with this new pair of black short shorts I bought. They zip up the back and are incredibly comfortable. I enjoy a good pair of short shorts since I'm not shy about my legs whatsoever. May as well have them out while I'm young! I also wore my favorite vintage t-shirt from Dad, this Psychotic State t-shirt. It was representative of my feelings toward school and the way school was making me feel at that time. I mean, it's still stressing me out a little but it's just about done!

I hope you're all doing well this Monday. I don't have anything particularly exciting to talk about right now. I've just been getting caught up on things I've been neglecting this semester and trying to relax. I went to the library and got an omnibus of Spider-man comics to entertain me. I also did a crossword puzzle yesterday. These are exciting times! I did actually get out and go for a walk too, which was definitely good. Overall, a nice weekend.

Your hair is so perfect! I was thinking about cutting mine and coloring it dark red.. thinking..thinking.. so far nothing haha But I really like yours!

I hope the final part of the semester goes well for you!

I'll admit I'm a little shy about my legs, so I don't wear shorts, pretty much ever. I like a skirt and I'm getting into my tights so it's not too bad. Just shorts aren't my thing. It's surprising the confidence that you can get from an awesome pair of tights though which I'm recently discovering.

Cute ensemble! So like the polka dot tights and the oxford shoes. Got a similar cardigan which is also thrifted find and I paired up with a nice top from americanfashionfox.com which I used in an event last December. Congratz by the way you for finishing your master's degree!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Don't Dream It

...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
