Transition into Spring

Well, it's definitely spring out there! My original outfit was too hot. As in, the tights I had on were too hot. Seriously. Also I look pretty good in some of these pictures, so that means I can have two versions of my outfit on here, right? I'm glad you agree.

All I did was take off the tights and change my shoes. It's kind of crazy the difference it made in the outfits though. You can tell me which one you like better!

sandals: bongo; kmart
other rings: old






I can't believe it's too hot to wear tights already. I'm so sad you have no idea. I looked at the weather forecast and some days next week are supposed to have highs at almost 90 degrees. That's horrible. And that also means summer is going to be horrible. You know where I'll be? Inside in the air conditioning!

I hope you all have a nice weekend. I'll hopefully be getting more school crap done. If not I'll really be screwed come Monday.

Ooh, tough call...those tights are beyond fantastic, but I think just maybe I like the outfit without them just a teeny bit more. Perfect summer outfit...those jean shorts are wonderful!

I think I like the way the no tights one photographed better. I think it's much more flattering and those shoes are killer. You look straight out of the magazines! But I do dig the tights one as well. I can't believe it was too hot for sheer tights. GA must be crazy.

Yikes! Too hot already to go sans tights...? Thank goodness it rarely gets that hot here in Ohio! You look cute as a button though in this outfit. High waisted denim shorts and a floral blouse are one of my favorite combinations ❤

Ooh girl, you fancy! Haha. I love them both! You look gorgeous both ways and they're both so diverse! You could wear the tights on a chilly day and bare on the blistering hot days we have here (you know how it gets!)

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
