Floral Patchwork Print Dress, Purple Cardigan, & Orange Sunglasses

Haaaappy Wednesday! Here's a simple outfit for a warm day. This dress has a really neat back, but I wanted to wear a regular bra, so a cardigan was the solution for that dilemma! I don't know why I never wore this purple cardigan with this dress before, but I like it. So many colors look nice with this dress though. 

I just took a solitary trip to the library in this outfit, but it was a nice day. I checked out 7 books, so I'll be doing plenty of awesome reading for the next couple of weeks! I'm a nerd?

Man, I miss the days of going to the library and checking out a gazillion things. Life is too busy right now. But hopefully one day when I have kids, I'll train them up to love the library and we'll have library outings weekly again.

Dresses with many colors are the best pieces of all. It's like you don't even have to think of pairing it with anything because it already goes with anything. Rad!

That dress is lovely, though. The patchwork pattern is so unique, and I especially like the paisley part of it. :)

This is such a pretty dress and the cardigan is a wonderful match. I can totally relate to having dresses with cool cut out backs but wanting to wear a regular wear and cardigans being fab for that.

This dress is just lovely and looks perfect with this cardigan! Argh, I know what you mean about wanting to wear a normal bra. I always fall in love with dresses with interesting backs, but always shy away from them for that reason. Thank goodness for cardigans, right?

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
