A Jeanie Outfit: Deer Print Dress, Wayfarers, & Clog Sandals

Happy Monday everyone! Here's an outfit Jeanie wore the other day. We both bought this same dress in different patterns in the Target kids' section the other day. Hers has little happy deer all over it. This outfit is almost entirely from the kids' department at Target though. Which means either adults are wearing adult-looking outfits or we're wearing childish outfits. I like to assume it's the first situation. Either way, this outfit is da bomb. And you'll be seeing my black bow print version of this dress sometime soon, I'm sure.

I hope you had a jolly weekend. I've been super busy visiting people and whatnot. It's been good but I usually feel ready to come home by the end of our trip. I won't have too much time to relax before getting back to the grad school grind so I'm looking forward to doing whatever I want for the next couple weeks. Though I'm sure I'll be getting gradually more and more anxious about next semester as time goes on. It's hard for me to completely relax!

That dress is SO cute and I want it! But I'm probably too tall (and pregnant...) for a dress of that length; it seems like all of the dresses at Target are made for shorter people than me.

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Don't Dream It

...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
