I have a couple cooler weather outfits to show you from last month before they become extremely irrelevant. Here's one of them! For some reason I'd never worn tights with a romper before this. I guess I figured they're already so difficult to get off to use bathroom facilities that tights would add another awful step. Luckily they didn't make it a much larger problem. Plus this floral print romper is so incredibly short and flowy that the added tights coverage was nice. 

This kind of felt like a fall outfit to me which is a-okay in my book. I'm actually dreading the humid summer heat we get here in Georgia and wish I could skip ahead to cooler days. You know how people dread winter because they hate leaving the house and going out in the cold? Well it's like that in the summer here - except hot. I spend most of the time inside because it's just awful out there! The summer is sure to fly by though, so I won't wish it away yet.

I don't think I can handle the tights and romper combination - I find it hard to get past just the romper one on its own... there's a part of me that still feels like I'm wearing a giant baby outfit! But some of them are so cute... like yours, so I really should give them a try this year! And at least they look good with tights, even if the combination is a logistical nightmare...

Never been a fan of rompers, don't know why, guess I haven't found that perfect one! :D
Love how you styled it here though, definitely layering is the best way to go, adore it ^_^

I love the floral + denim combo! I prefer the look of rompers with tights & sweaters or jackets, but you are not joking about the bathroom situation! I wore that combo on a cross country flight once like an idiot :)

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
