A Jeanie Holiday Outfit: Vintage Wool Coat, Green Peplum Dress, & Floral Tights

Merry Christmas!

Jeanie told me I should title this post "Jeanie Can't Make Normal Faces" but I picked the pictures with her making relatively normal faces except for one. This is the outfit she wore when I wore my leopard print coat and black lace dress. This vintage wool coat was one of our great grandma's too and now my sister gets to wear it! She said it's really warm. Plus it has that cool striped lining on the inside so you can tell it's fancy. Underneath the coat she wore a green peplum dress from Modcloth and some really cool floral tights. We found those shoes at Target for $6 the other day too. They were only left in her size so she had to get them!

coat: vintage - great grandma's | dress: modcloth | tights: forever 21 | shoes: target

And then we have the picture with her making a face. She said it's a model face so we'll go with that, but I personally think it's leaning more toward Grumpy Cat.

I do have random Christmas pictures to show you guys, but I wanted to show you another holiday look on actual Christmas. This outfit Jeanie is wearing could easily have been worn for New Year's Eve or another holiday party so I hope you've been inspired! (And ask your grandparents if they have anybody's old coats hanging around because look at what kinds of outfits you could come up with!)

I hope you're having a great holiday and a nice Wednesday!

Those tights are so cool! Same for shoes and coat. And dress. Heck, I like the whole thing. PLUS, GRUMPY CAT FACE FOREVER!

Merry Christmas!! That dress, those tights, those shoes... Jeanie is so cute, as always! Haha, the grumpy cat face cracks me up! That coat is kind of amazing, and I love that it's vintage and was your grandma's. I wish I would have snatched a few of the dresses my grandma had from her younger days before she decided to clear them from her closet!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

Those shoes are THE BEST!

Also, total yes to Grumpy Cat, though I can see how the face can also be spun as model-y.
