Maroon Cat Print Shirt, Little Black Dress, Herringbone Tights, & Ankle Boots

Happy Friday everyone! Here's an outfit I wore last weekend that I really enjoyed. Basically every time I layer a shirt underneath this dress I'm happy. I don't know why I never tried layering my cat print shirt underneath it until now! The lace in the top works with the lace detailing on the dress. Plus cat shirts are pretty awesome in general.

These tights are becoming a new favorite. I just really like how they're both fishnet-ish and herringbone. They were a Christmas present so I'm not 100% sure where they're from, but it's probably Kmart. If you haven't checked out Kmart for tights, you should. Some of my comfiest, softest tights are from there.

I hope you guys have a great weekend. I'll be studying today and perhaps taking some breaks to read a few blogs. I should probably only study though... We'll see. P.S. I'm sorry this post is going up so late today. Usually I schedule at least the night before. Unfortunately I was extremely exhausted Thursday night and proceeded to only nap on the couch after work and then go straight to bed. I live a life of excitement!

Don't overexert yourself studying! :) I hope your weekend is relaxing other than that. I'm so busy, too, with all this out-of-class-art-stuffs. Lots of dashes there. XD We can live a life of excitement together. YAY SCHOOL!

I adore how you put that dress over your collared top. And the lace peeking through is way cute!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Don't Dream It

...be it! I love a good performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We went to see the live shadow cast Lips Down on Dixie perform at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. It was awesome, as always! This is Jeanie and her friend Leslie before they got their lipstick Rocky virgin V's on their foreheads. Leslie even got the honor of holding the criminologist's book during a part of the show. Pretty ballin'. Butt shot! Yes, those are heels I have on with leopard print pajamas. It was a take on Columbia in the touch-a touch me scene. The real pj's are stripes, but this is what I had! I did have the mickey ears and crazy makeup though, so it counts. [How fun would it be to wear one of those costumes for Halloween?] I always enjoy this show.
