Leopard Print Coat, Blue Velvet Collared Sweater, Leather Skirt, & Lace Print Tights

It's Monday again already! The weekends fly by, don't they? Oh well. Here's an outfit I wore a little while back and am just now getting to posting! I thrifted this collared cardigan while we were in Illinois in December. I couldn't resist the velvet collar and the fact that it was like a blouse, but a cardigan. Also the shade of blue is really pretty and I like how it looks with my red hair. For its debut I paired it with my leather skater skirt and my vintage leopard print coat. Whenever I wear this leather skirt, I enjoy the texture it adds. It also adds a little extra cool-ness to any outfit!

Did you guys have a good weekend? I did, but I'm ready for the next one already. If only life could be all weekends. Though after next weekend I'll have to be doing grad school work until the end of the semester so I'm not looking forward to that. There's just too much to do and I'm really sick of grad school. You've probably gathered that from my complaints though!

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. Work Outfit: Light Blue Jersey Knit Dress and White Block Heels

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. That's exactly what I did with this light blue dress California-based shop Tobi sent me to style. (Someone even asked me why I was dressed so nice at the dog park! I told them I just came from work, of course.) For the debut of my newest pajama dress, I added my silvery beaded Stella and Dot necklace and a pair of white block heel sandals from Forever 21. I actually bought the shoes back in December on sale and had to wait for it to warm up to finally wear them. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
