Ruffled Cat Print Top & A Chambray Skirt

Happy Monday and happy Memorial Day too! This cat print shirt is pretty awesome, am I right? Not only is it cat print, but it has ruffles and a cool back. (Thanks for giving this top to me Kate!) I paired it with a denim skirt I bought it a couple years back. It was a little small on me then, but it fits now! This outfit is just super summery to me and kind of reminds me of something Jenna from Smitten would wear. Possibly because of the back of this top.

I hope you're having a good 3-day weekend if you're lucky enough to have one. I'm heading out to Athens with Matt today to pick up some stuff we left there and possibly eat dinner. I assure you it'll be more fun than it sounds because that description sounds incredibly boring.

Oh my goodness, what a cute look! That blouse really brings out the lace on your skirt and it's such a bright and breezy summer look. (Hah, a relaxing three day weekend is always nice, sometimes it's great to just have a veg-out night.)

I know this is silly but I just love your hair color! are you lucky enough to be a natural redhead? It's really just the prettiest shade, you have the prettiest hair!

Oh my gosh, this top! It's too adorable. And I could totally see Jenna wearing this! haha

By the way, I ended up trying on the same pair of children's shoes you got from Target after seeing yours and you were right, they fit! I really wanted to get them, but they only had them in brown, and now I have my heart set on finding a red pair of sandals like that because of you!

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
