Remix Post: Brown Tweed Blazer

Is this week over yet? There's so much work to do, but I wanted to update the blog! It's too late to do any real work right now anyway.

I thought I'd throw together a remix post featuring my brown tweed blazer. I think I've had it since high school. Mom bought it for me from Kohls way back when. It's a really light jacket, but it's plenty warm enough over a sweater. Plus it's the only brown coat I have, so I tend to wear it with brown-toned outfits.

I'm feeling a lot better than last week, but still not 100%. It's unfortunate because I have 50 billion projects to do this week. Somehow I'll try to get everything done without sinking into a deep schoolwork-related depression. I'm sure a bunch of you are feeling these same woes of the end of the semester.

I love remixes! You're so good at styling blazers...I actually don't own any at all because I feel like they won't go well with my short hair. But then I see these cute oufits and I want to try a blazer anyway. Good luck with the end-of-semester craziness!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
